If you hold on tight to your dear ones and never lose them, will you then be able to enjoy the pure joy of their coming back?

Is never losing a person better than losing the person once and then getting him/her back?

If second chances do exist, why don't you go experience it at least once?

Have you ever been at the bliss of.. letting go?

In a frozen shell in a static world, will your smile ever become more beautiful?
Or will it lose the luster and meaning, gradually?

How much pressure can your smile absorb, before it breaks down into distorted curves?

The Love Pipe

Tiny little hearts
Flying in the lots
Poppin' in the air

Solemn and fair

Waiting for a smile
No more than a while
In the glossy lips
Of your snowy face

Tender and slow

The love-pipe I blow

All it takes to move-
A little more love

The Penguin's Bite

Okay tell me,

..what's your idea of an awesome weekend when monotony is getting pretty dense around you, together with an awkward feeling of doing nothing worth the sparkle ?

What is awesome and philosophical and technical and free, all at the same time ??

It seems like I found one:

FOSS meet is the annual event of the Free and Open Source Software. Simply said, all that Linux stuff you've heard so far, but with much more fun and inspiration than you'll ever imagine.
The event was held at the National Institute of technology, Calicut during the last three days.

The reasons?
First and foremost, I just needed to travel, see new places, and have new experiences. Then again, I wanted a kick start with the Linux area of computing.

My companion - Hari of the ol' tale. He is most probably waiting for this entry to come up in here. So let me not mention the Hilarious moments of Hari.
The above picture shows him taking the first steps into the venue campus.

The talks and workshops at FOSS meet were.. Great! Again, I have promised myself not to be on the techy side while writing this post. But it was indeed a wonderful experiance which gave me a lot more than what I had originally expected.
The above snap is from the Aryabhatta hall at NITc, just before the morning talk.

One of the worth-mentioning stuff is the Blender workshop which let us Actually do some 3D modelling, and which was simply mindblowing. There was also another graphics workshop about Inkscape.
Rest of the event included hands on workshops about various FOSS development areas, and inspiring talks which fuelled a great deal of confidence and motivation.
A moment on the techy side, this is something you techy guys should never miss.

Nothing is complete until I mention the cheerful environment -- The food was delicious. The campus was spacious. The internet connection was vivacious. I just would've stayed there for a couple more days.

Smiles n' Spirit, for a better tomorrow. :)
