The Killing Joke

So!
Exams ageen.
I'm shutting down for a while.
Its really a great experience to FINALLY discover what all stuff were you supposed to be studying this semester, and what was the whole purpose of all these 1.5" thick textbooks.
Some are really interesting stuff, I see now. And some authors are really funny. Well, in a weird way, given that they are talking about classic deadlock prevention algorithms.

All aside. Yesterday I saw a crow in our backyard.
I suddenly realized that I actually haven't seen a crow for a considerable while. Or I don't remember. It was standing alone on the cleansing stone.. and I stared at it.
I don't remember having seen a bunch of crows scouting the yard, any recently. May be there's some yet unnoticed decrease in population of these birds due to a gradually disintegrating ecosystem. Or may be its just me, cut out of surroundings.
Either way, its embarrassing.

Remembering early exam times.. I used to study in the garden of my Grandma's house. And I knew by heart every plant, every newly blossomed flower, and every ant nest and everything out there. Now nature seems strange. I think its something I should revive.

And one little more thing before I say a temporary bye..

There was this Indibloggies blog contest and for my surprise one day it turned out that this blog of mine has been shortlisted for the category 'Best Designed Indiblog'. I came out second. :)

Smiles around. I never took it seriously. But after the results came, I thought I would've suggested etOnFire to the list. It's my favourite design! :D

On the same lines, I'm planning a redesign for this blog. But apart from usual, I won't be investing my study-time intervals on it. Guess what, I got obsessed with something else -- Batman!
I grabbed three great comics of Batman&Joker , for exam time! : The Man who Laughs, The Killing joke(which happens to be the title of this post, for no apparent justifiable reason) and Arkham Asylum(which is the title of the new batman game).

FUN TIMES AHEAD! Temporary-bye, my loves. :party

Aww my tea got cold!

So, enjoyed your Happy Christmas ? ..... Good. Now lets have some talk. :)

How many e-cards did u send this Christmas/New Year? How many picture messages in Orkut? How many global tweets? How many Facebook pokes?

How many cards you sent by post?
*sigh*

Technology is developing, oh yeah. But it doesn't matter.
It doesn't matter whether it's Facebook or Twitter, E-card or real card, its just another time to celebrate. Another wonderful awesome time of the year when we push our worries into the valley of joy. Splash.

Life is the duck who lays the golden eggs. Enjoy the lusture of one egg at a time. Don't kill it.

Do not exhaust the possibilities of a relationship.
Take your time in getting to know each other. Take your time in trusting someone. Take your time before you admire the person.

Most important - take your time in telling secrets. Spill all your secrets over your new-found-friend.. and congrats, you've killed the duck!
Why do friendships soon turned into love fail so sooner? There are no more sparks. All we have is a sudden wild flame which eats up everything. A blinding flame which, after a moment, leaves behind only ashes and coal.

Learn to enjoy every piece of your food, and not to gobble it.
Some words are special.
There are people who pleads everytime. Yet another kind apologizes all the time. Their conversations are filled with Pleases and Sorrys. They are killing the possibility of those words. They are reducing those words into a dead combination of letters.

Say Please only when you need someone to really help you out. Say Sorry only when you're sure of a regret. Thus you respect yourself - your power and your ability.

Never feel weak.
You in yourself are a superhero. You just need to believe that you have the power within you.
Well, we have this whole lifetime to figure out what it actually is.

Let me conclude.
Hope you enjoyed your Christmas. Now here's wishing you a prosperous and awesome 2010!

Colours of U

The bubbles we blew in thin air
And colours we saw upon them
The roads we walked together
And things we wished to talk
Our Dreams.

The day you cried, and
I came to hold your hand
And the day we figured out
How a kiss would feel
Our first.

You came, and you stayed
It was only me who let it go
You were there, and it was real
Now I wonder what is left so true
..Nothing.

I searched for a dream
To hold on and move
But I reached a place
So colourless and mad
A room of Lies.

An empty world grows up in size
And push me to the very edge
I look down and realize..
I'm waiting for a hint of you
You, and me, and
O
ur Togetherness.

Up and Rolling

And then I got a new ride :)

Ebony :
Now I don't stop
I can think while I do
I can do while I think
In the betraying swift
And absorbing ebony

Complexity :
One day you wear out
Too old to strain
Too weak to contain the complexity
Your density decomposes, and
Your totality just another mere simplicity

I know.

The Industry :
The factory came in the small village, bought their lands, shove them flat and laid concrete paths.
But its the best place around to speed on a bicycle during a winter's evening. :d

Contradiction :
There are no more constraints. Now I fly.
The cage was home to two generations of my favorite doggies, Bruto And Rocky. (They had miserable deaths *sigh*).
Now used to store coconut safely - the splendid mallu innovation! Patented by Granma. :D

A Certain Misfit :
Oh and how I hate that pink bell! xo
People here are constantly updated in the technological sense. And rarely in the aesthetic sense.

Time 2 Talk

After a period of cold response to awards and tags, its time to get nice. Awards ageen!

Shravan gave me 3 awards last day. And two of them are my ever-favorite awards in the blogosphere : The Kreative Blogger Award and I <3 your blog Award. Plus there's one lovely award. Plus they all come with nothing less than two tags.

So, time to get down and dirty!

Before that.. thank you Shravan my boi! :O

The first tag says: Tell 7 things about you, unknown to others
Woo hoo I'm excited!

#1 I'll be 20 too soon. Whoa! As I type it and read it, I suddenly got realization struck. There are many things to be concerned about as we step into the youth, of course. But as for now, I just can't accept the fact of losing teenage. :d

#2 This, I've told before. Still, why miss an opportunity. I'm less than pleased with my current course of study, my college and things going around there. I'm quite eagerly looking forward to completing the degree ASAP and getting out of there! Redemption, guys! :Ice
Umm.. and then do something I like.

#3 I am feeling down at the moment. I haven't felt like this any recently. Things are terribly alright. There are more than enough reasons to be happy. Still, I miss something somewhere. May be I'm hungry. <insert cake smiley here>

#4 Its pretty good to be single, although its not a 24/7 feeling. Only once when you love will you know what love can do. View about relationships is one thing which has changed a lot. It IS important, anyway.

#5 I love exploring. And I love to do that on a bicycle. My old cycle - my best traveling companion - has been left to rust down beyond recovery and is *sigh* plain dead by now. I'm going to get a new one though. We need to move on in life.

#6 In my home everyone goes out daily and it will be locked up in the morning. Many times I return home alone when it is already dark to find that nobody is there. This is a used-to scenario. But it gets totally spooky if you've just seen a horror movie. The house can be a realistic haunted building!! :o
I should also add that the worst experience was the night of the day I saw Amityville Horror, when there was no power, no lights! xP

#7 One thing I hate the most : Irresponsible people - People who are unconditionally reckless with other people's things, plans, time and heart.

Reporting behind the Void

Life's good. There's a little empty time up here, when I have no business bothering about anything.
Time to look back, I guess. Errr..

Interviewed
How about an interview to start with? Yes people, et got interviewed @ SpeakBindas.com.
What to tell, it was all a random invitation to a rather well formed interview. But the questions were keen enough, I'd say :)

Playing the Guest
Shravan is celebrating 100 posts at his blog. And for the 101th post, et has been invited. Thus happened the 1st ever guest post by moi. By the way, its mostly graphics :O

Still Burning
et On Fire was created(long back). There's a handful of comics out there, more colors, and more smiles. Take a look. I suddenly thought I'd be more regular there. Sudden thoughts, y'knw. :Fire

Simply Very Simple
A Very Simple Game was my first and only try at making a flash game. Amazingly, it turned out smashing good. It was well received and adored.
All that happened years ago. Then again, I was looking at the sky one chilly morning and simply decided to work up the 2nd version of the game. Well, I've been away from all that and related stuff. So I really have to work this up!
Meanwhile you guys can play the first release, comment upon it, and give me more suggestions on making the second one. :h

The Old Shelf
Little award business here..
At a time, I was completely immersed in blogging. It was like.. blogging, reading, commenting, adding widgets, walking through blogging forums, more blogging, and the awesome part - receiving and passing on awards.
Awards came in all sizes and shape - brotherhood award, sisterhood award, cutest blogger, fattest blogger and everything. No matter, they always did their part of encouragement.
And here let me collect a bit of some long-forgotten-to-accept awards. Okay, I'm not going into the rules and details. Let me just accept your love, fellas! :L

from Shravan

from Choco & Vyaz

And may be some more which I lost somewhere between the other old stuff. Lets rewind and make some time, to check in all our happy times! :) :Rainbow
