And Life Goes On

Speaking of some pseudo significant life updates here..

My family got completely connected now. Four cell phones for the four fantastic people. We're available now! No more delays with super-villain scenarios!
Why did it take so long, why on earth. Well the obvious answer seems to be 'I don't know'.

On the same note(Pah! I so so miss my guitar classes), I personally got upgraded to a new Nokia XpressMusic, the 5130 guy. All the same, slightly more handsome than my earlier 3110 classic(duh!), and with a 2.0 MP cam(that's all we need). :)

I'm happy.

I'm jealous.

My father went out travelling. It was all around the northern border of India.
Having been served as a teacher, been held the responsibility of the head of the institution, retired.. finally he hits the road.
With one wife, one daughter, and one exceptionally awesome son *ahm*, what else does a man need. Time to go out and see the world! :d

I'm posting here some of the shots by my dad, during his trip:

Peace and fine. Keep smiling in the meantime. :h

SpellBound

This video was mentioned by one of my friend's during a chat. The custom Apple ad is exclusively for the different people. I couldn't really help putting it here! Watch and get inspired if you are one: :d

Requiem

Wait, hold your sad face! This is the happiest requiem ever sung!! :D

Earlier this year, I scribbled down The Dark Chapter : Screwed Up! . This one you're reading now is a sequel to the Dark Chapter.
The whole mess was around a ruined Lab exam of mine. Ruined because of erroneous instruments, careless heartless instructors, and my very personal hate for the underlined subject, Electronics!

Well, phew! That was over!

And as a matter of fact, there is.. the result yet to come.
And it came.
And..

I passed! No glory, no high altitude graphs. But i did pass!
This is important to me because, with the results of this 3rd semester, my every liability to study Electronics is over - in theory or practice. I'm free falling! Back to algorithms. :)

So, requiem, ye most hated subject!

No more a Folly

Last week got me totally busy on the final works of a dream-come-true venture. The efforts were worth it, and the dream did come true! :)

So what's this all about?

I think i mentioned here earlier; its a website on the history and tourism of Thalassery, my home place.

This has been a dream for a group of students. Now its a reality, of course. Once I too was a student of this school, and moreover I got a chance to handle the important work of the web designer in this project.

On to the site.. discover a whole new place on earth!

Remember, the address is http://thalasserytourism.com
More reasons to travel!! :D
Don't forget to leave your comments there!

And now.. awesome shots from the inauguration event, which was held at Overberry's Folly..

Life.random(360);

Big time for random post, guys! :D

Right now I'm passing through one of those rough, busy times which you encounter quite frequently in an engineering course. Anyhow there are, of course, a few beautiful pieces here and there. Life can't be completely hard.

Today morning as I was rushing out to college, there stood our cat-next-door. She stayed away from me as if we just had a break up last day : y'knw, like showing that intense intimacy in the look but still keeping a distance and turning around for some mysterious reason. If you observe a cat enough, you can totally associate it with your girlfriends, or woman in general. Who was that author who described womanly gestures as the keen flexibility of a cat ? Whoever that is, lets skip on; I don't want to sound sexist here.
Did you know that tricolor cats are always female? Yeah always!

Solitude can be fun. All you need is some love for travel, some sense of the exotic beauty of nature, music, books and essentially, some TIME. I admire the feeling of love - the way it can hold together a person even in the certain lack of all the above mentioned necessities of enjoyable solitude, the way it makes the most terrible situations seem beautiful..

Today I had The Damnest Trip Back Home. It was around 3 hours of awesome roadblock with transportation snailing through every metre, with an awesome hot climate worth mentioning. I doubt even love can do anything about this.

Then there were BALLOONS. Yes, a bunch of them. They were flying free, in the sky. High above. Flying. Free.
I was watching them out through the window as sweaty people stuffed around me in the bus stuck in the traffic.
The balloons looked almost as in this picture. And they were in perfect contradiction with my condition.
Another thing of interest is that THIS happened in THIS place - to see bunch of balloons let free in the sky. As I know the people around here, they'll hold on to the string so firmly that finally the balloons get heated up and stressed and burst out. So the event turns out to be phenomenal.

Back at home I see textbooks, assignments and more responsibilities. I walk to the lonely area in the back of the house, and I see the cat lying wide open on a wide block of concrete. Calm in the moonlight. Nothing to worry about.
I see perfect contradiction with my condition again. And.. I'm jealous.

Plus, I made all them pics myself!
